Labelling Calendar Items (O2K3)

This is a bit of a head-scratcher, looked around and googled but couldnt find any information on it...

I downloaded a CSV file of a pro sports team's 2003-2004 schedule and imported it. THEN I realized that it was all in Pacific Time, and im in Eastern Time. I opened the csv in Excel and used time() to add 3 hours to the start and end times, saved it and re-imported replacing duplicates... except that with different times, they're not duplicates! D'oh! <img src=/S/doh.gif border=0 alt=doh width=15 height=15>

So anyway, I manually deleted them all. Now before I go back and re-import them now that it's "cleaned up" and stuff, I have one more question... there was no "label" field in the CSV, and I can't find any reference on the Outlook Calendar Format that would tell me if there was such an animal. I'd like to be able to label them all a different color, and not have to do it manually... I suppose I could import them all, and then sort on category to highlight them all and do it that way, but is there a way to do it in the CSV so they come in 'pre-labelled'?

Once again, many thanks to all the fine folks in here for helping out.

There is no mapping to a label field - even in 2003... so I'm thinking that your idea to place them into categories and then group by categories to label would probably work best... unless someone knows some code that would quickly label?

Label as provided by OL 2003? The label for Holidays is 'None'; and I don't know how to add new labels (users can modify the existing ones via 'coloring', I think Wassim was looking to add Labels, don't know if he found a solution); what did you want as a Label?

I just wanted to import them and have them colored (using the labels that are built-in to Outlook (None, Important, Travel Required, etc) and visually distinguishable from other (real as opposed to pro sports games) appointments and schedule

I was hoping I could add a column to the CSV before it was imported called "label" and assign it an integer that would match up to None, Important, Travel Required, Business, Personal, etc.

Actually, Im going to go try that. I'll let y'all know how that works. failing that, I'll try the view by category thing and see if I can make a change to the whole list that way.
