    Screen Tips/Tool Tips (Windows XP)

Is there a way to hide the screen tips/tool tips that appear when resting the mouse pointer over any desktop, taskbar, or sys tray item on the main Windows screen?

Long ago, there was a time when men cursed and beat on the ground with sticks. It was called witchcraft.
    Today it is called golf!

Thanks, Bob. I have forwarded the information from your previous post to the individual who had asked me this question - I'm sure they feel comfortable editing the Registry....but me, I get nervous just thinking about it.

I personally prefer the TweakUI method, mentioned in that same thread, especially for the "inexperienced" registry hacker.
