    Repair 'New Dial-Up Connection' Wizard? (XP)

    I just relocated, and my DSL won't be connected again for a week. I should be able to use Dial-Up in the meantime, but using the Wizard, I choose the following:
    * Connect to the Internet
    * Set up my connection manually
    but then when I get to where I should choose * Connect using a dial-up modem, it is ghosted and only * Connect using broadband that is always on is available.

    I won't have time to clarify my question much, since I am at work. I canNOT reinstall Windows XP because of my Compaq Raze & Restore disk. It seems I might have missing or corrupt files. Is there a certain set of files I could download to a disk, and re-install on my computer? (The files AND default locations would help).

    Are you referring to the Internet Connection Wizard? And is your modem installed as a device on the system?
