    Need a Starting Point

    Ok i am new to VBA and access

    I am being told to do some stuff and want to know where is a good starting point to try to self learn about VBA and Access.

    Two good ways:

    1. Record some macros and then reverse engineer them. See how they are recorded. The recorded macros, for the most part, are not necessarily the best, tightest code; however, it is a starting place.

    2. Buy a book for VBA programming.

    3. Bonus. Read everything <A target="_blank" HREF=http://www.mvps.org>here</A>.

    Have a look at <A target="_blank" HREF=http://www.beginners.co.uk>http://www.beginners.co.uk</A>. They've got courses in everything, including VBA (Excel, Word and Access separately) as well as office products.
