    MSP Comment Line? (XP)

    Hello,

I want to document 3 parallel projects with their own tasks.
And subdivide the 3 groups of tasks, then put a 1-line heading on-top of each group of tasks. So this will just be a text label and shouldn't have a corresponding GANNT chart entry.

    Is this possible?

    Thanks,

    Bob.

Are you asking if you can insert an independent text field on the Gantt?

    Hi,

The screenshot shows what I'm trying to achieve.

I have bunches of tasks, let's say 2 groups.
    Each group has a Heading.

In the screenshot the Heading Divider is on Line 10.
I want to put it as a label. MSProject puts a diamond shape in the Chart with a date.
I am trying to make a label entry which does NOT put the diamond shape & date.

Is it possible to do that?

    Thanks.

    Bob.

    Bob,

The black diamond shape is the standard graphic for a milestone or task with zero duration. If you want to change or remove this shape
and / or text then you can double click on the black diamond and the Format Bar window will open. Use the Bar Shape tab to set the shape or remove it, Use the Bar Text tab to add text.

To change bar styles and shapes globally, use Format Bar Styles.

    HTH
    Regards,

    Gary
