    Running cumulative totals (2000)

    Hi,

    I currently have a report that's structured like this:

    Week 1 detail line
    Week 2 detail line
    Week 3 detail line
    Week 4 detail line

    Totals (Weeks 1 -4)

    A user would now like this:

    Week 1 detail line
    Week 2 detail line
    Totals (Weeks 1 -2)
    Week 3 detail line
    Totals (Weeks 1 -3)
    Week 4 detail line
    Totals (Weeks 1 -4)

    I'm guessing that some kind of counter that works off the final total would help do this. Does anyone have any other suggestions?

    Say that you have a field named Amount that you want to total. Add a text box bound to Amount to the section containing the weekly data, below the other controls in that section, and set its Running Sum to Over All.

    That's just what I needed. Thanks. I ended up using the Over Group option because of the way the report is sorted.
