    xl on the web (2000)

Is it possible to have a fully interactive spreadsheet on the web?

I've tried uploading a workbook with vba code and macro buttons to my website but the best I can do so far is a "stripped-down" version without the macros.

In my experience, the answer is no especially with the use of VBA. It does depend on what the VBA does, however. In my case, I usually have code that hides/shows sheets and/or rows/cols so this type of interactivity will not work (since the web page isn't reloaded to show the changes). If the VBA just pops up dialogs and does some simple stuff it's ok.

MS does have an Office Web Components add-in. It's a set of COM objects that let you publish Office docs to the web (it's a lot more than just save-as HTML). I haven't used this myself so can't give a lot of insight into how well it works.
