    Checkboxes and numbering (XP)

I'm trying to produce a one-page quiz. It's strictly for printing, not for on-line use. Each of the five questions (numbered 1 thru 5) will have three choices, a/b/c. I know how to use automatic numbering and bullets via Format>Styles. What I need, however, is for each choice to have an open square bullet (for the checkmark) and the letter choice. Is there any way to set up such a scheme?

Start by inserting an open box in your document using Insert | Symbol, for example from the Symbol font. Then copy this box to the clipboard.
You can paste this box into the Number Format box in the Customized Numbered List dialog, either from Format | Bullets and Numbering, Customize... if you apply direct formatting, or from Modify Style > Format > Numbering > Customize... if you apply a numbered list style.
