    Creating Forms (2000)

I am new to creating forms in either Word or Excel. My main need is to create a form with an answer field that allows unlimited text. I'm creating a form for users to communicate changes in our product portfolio.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Re: Creating Forms (2000)

    Hi Kathy:
I'm not sure what format your form will take. You can use a table to lay out the elements. If it's a simple question & answer, you can type your questions & put a text form field in between each question. The go to Tools/Protect Document... & protect the document for forms. Your users will only be able to answer questions in the form fields & the default is unlimited text.

Prior to protecting your document, you can double click on a form field to bring up the options dialog box & change them as you see fit.
    Hope this helps,
