MailMerge using Outlook 2003 Contacts (Office 2003)

I want to merg the contacts list to a mailing label in Word 2003. Does anyone know if there is a simple way to do this?

"Simple" is a relative term! Have you tried the Tools | Mail Merge Wizard menu which shows when a Contact Folder is selected, along with the related Help information?

I have exhausted HELP and that is why I have submitted my post to the lounge. I also submitted this problem to ABComputers and when Linda responded to me, she said I should see MailMerge Wizard as an option under Tools, Letters and Mailings. I just checked this again and found that Mail Merge in 2003 is the same as Mail Merge Wizard in 2002. Boy, do I feel .

The menus you are referring to are in Word, where I was referring to Outlook.

Re: MailMerge using Outlook 2003 Contacts (Office 2003)

Okay. Let me try to get this right. I am in Outlook contacts. I click on Tools and select Mail Merge. I leave all of the defaults except at the bottom left, I change it to Mailing Labels. I click OK and the next message comes up telling me I have to click on the Setup button. I do that and then I go back in to edit the main document. I add the merge fields to my document and I propagate those fields to all of the labels. Then I click on Mail Merge Recipients button and I get a listing of all the available fields and the information entered into those fields when I created the contact. If I click on the drop-down button for each column, there are 4 options (all), (blank), (nonblank), and (advanced). What do these mean? How do they affect my list of contacts? Do I need to do anything in this dialog box?
