    View XML doc

Since I've created the doc with SBS2000, I am posting here, but it could fit any number of forums. SBS2000 Exchange Mail tools finds all events on the sending of a message. I said "save" on the Message Tool search screen, and have an XML doc. I thought I could open it with Word 2002, and it opens, but is not formatted. Is there a reader than can show me the file in 'final form' instead of all the tags and values?

    Re: View XML doc

XML files usually do not contain formatting instructions, but they may contain a reference to an XSD schema file that enables an XML-aware parser to properly lay out the data. Is there anything like that in your XML file? To get a quick-and-dirty tabular view, try opening the document in Excel.

    Re: View XML doc

Okay. I didn't see any, but I was just comparing the output from Veritas Backup Exec log files in their viewer, and in I-explorer. Big difference, so I just thought there would be formatting. I'll try and pull the data out manually. Thanks for the help, and education!
