Outlook XP and Permanently Delete Rule (Outlook 2002 XPsp3)

    Here's something I just noticed.
I was trying to change a Rule that deleted emails based on criteria, to one that "Permanently Deletes" them, but it seems to insist on also checking the box (and you cannot uncheck it) that says "Stop Processing more Rules"!

Why would I want to stop processing more rules?
Or does it mean stop processing just on this message?

    One would hope the latter.

    Thanks,

It means for that message. And it's generally a good idea for most rules.
