    Original Date (97, 2002)

    Hi,

I was asked this by a developer in the company where I work. They have an application where templates are used for standard doc (correspondences) that are saved in a 'repository'. Currently, the date that the document is created on is populated using AUTOPOPULATE.

When the document is viewed (in Word) later the date is the CURRENT DATE. (which makes sense based on autopopulate). Is there a way to show the date as the actual creation date?

    TIA,

    Jimmy Lee

    Hi Jimmy

You can use the CREATEDATE form field, available by using Insert>Field... It will be in the date/time category.
