    Search problem

My workstation at work uses Win 2K. When I try to search the C drive for files (e.g., by specifying *.xlt), the search only looks inside the Documents and Settings folder. Files in the Program Files folder are never found. Does anyone have an explanation and/or a fix?

    Re: Search problem

Have you tried to change the default search folder to the "Root" of the C drive?

By default Windows will search ONLY the "My Documents" folder.

Now running HP Pavilion a6528p, with Win7 64 Bit OS.
