    How To Reference Control.Column in Sub Form? (a2k (9.0.6926) SP-3 Jet 4.0 SP-7)

    I have the following code in a form module and it works OK:

    Dim lngID As Long
    Dim strCode As String
    Dim strDesc As String

    lngID = Me!DetailSubForm.Form!lngRevGLDescID

    Is the combo box bound to a field? If so, and if the name of the combo box is different from the name of the field it is bound to, you should use the name of the combo box, not of the field.

    An alternative would be to include the table that acts as row source of the combo box in the record source of the subform (probably with an outer join), and add the Code and Description fields to the query grid.
