Visual Basic doesn't have subforms in the send that Access does. What are you trying to accomplish?

You cannot out a Form on a Form, but you can have multiple Forms within a project/
You can then load/show/hide the Forms as needed.

I was hoping to have a box in the centre of my form where I can dynamically add controls dependent upon variables in the main fo4m. Once the number of controls gets to a certain size I would have liked the sub form to become scrollable, this would keep it neat. You are correct, this would be exactly as it is in access!
