    Web Server Idle? (xp)

Hi, I just got a new computer with xp on it. The problem I'm having is I have a website that I created using frontpage 98. When I installed frontpage 98 on my xp it is asking me for a Name and Password in order for it to work. I'm the only one using this computer there should be no reason why I need to put a name and password in everytime I want to use frontpage. When I put the name and password in, A window that says WEB SERVER IDLE pops up. How can I get ride of this. I have uninstalled and reinstalled frontpage 98 3 times.
    Please help

Have you installed the Personal Web Server? - I think it is installed by default with FP98.

(There is a little bit of info on it here at the AccessFP site.)

If I remember correctly the Personal Web Server is not supported in Windows XP Home Edition - you can use disk-based webs in XP home but will need XP Professional if you want to use the MS web server. Of course you can use some other form of web server but then you may strike problems with lacking FP extensions...
