    Too few parameters (2000)

    I'm trying to link data from an Access database using the "New Database Query." I select "MS Access Database" and navigate to the database, select the query I want the data from and clicked through selecting a field to sort and finally selected "Return data to Microsoft Excel." I get a message that says

    Does your query use Access-specific functions or user-defined functions, or have parameters? The ODBC driver for Access doesn't know about such things.

    Jan,

    I know that, but AFAIK you have to define them in MSQuery, not in Access.

    That must be my problem. It's got parameters. I'll try setting up the parameters in MS Query.
