    Freq. Program LIst (XP)

I would like to know how to "reset" the list of "last/most recently used programs that are displayed when you hover the cursor over: START>PROGRAMS. Using XP Classic mode. NOTE: This is **NOT** the list of programs that get shown when you select "START" (this list is easily reset). However, select START and then hover the mouse over the PROGRAMS button. Do NOT click on PROGRAMS. While hovering, a (hopefully) short list of your most recent programs will be displayed (as opposed to clicking on PROGRAMS and seeing ALL of your programs). My question is, How do I reset this list to remove some of the programs that are being displayed?

    Clear as mud?

    TIA,
    Jim

I think what you are talking about is caused by selecting "Use Personalised Menus".
I think your only easy option is to de-select that so that it shows them all.

    Hello Leif:

Yes, I am using Personalize Menus". I really like using the "short" list. Do you know of any way to reset the list?

Sorry - I don't and can't immediately find out where the info is kept.

Now, if it had been the personalized menus in Office...
