    Embedding Help in Workbooks (XP)

    Hello All

I am interested in embedding Help into Excel workbooks. For example, is it possible to have an option on the Help menu that opens a help file that is document-specific? Or to have F1 help available in different columns, etc.?

    Thanks for your help.

I don't know if there is an easier way, but you could on workbook activate/deactivate replace the help in the menu with a button of your own choosing that calls your own macro which calls a custom help file. You could also use application.onKey to assign the F1 Key to your own macro:

    <pre>Application.OnKey "{F1}", "MyHelpProc"</pre>
