Message Identification (OT 2000 and >)

    <img src=/S/hello.gif border=0 alt=hello width=25 height=29> Loungers

How many different ways can I identify a message in Outlook?

    I mean you can:
    1) Set a flag for the message.
    2) You can use a rule to make the message color change.
    3) Maybe set a combination of colors and flags.

So, anyone has any ideas on how to identify messages coming in from multiple accounts?

    Thanks in Advance

Your header does imply Outlook 2000 and later editions. So, in OL2003 you can use Rules and Alerts to move incoming messages from multiple accounts to distinct folders.

I believe you can add an Account field to the other columns in your Inbox, which you could eyeball or sort by, and/or you can add Grouping by account. That should pretty well separate them.

This is exactly what I was looking for.

Now if I can just fit all that on a 15" screen and still be able to work and see all that. <img src=/S/bagged.gif border=0 alt=bagged width=22 height=22>

Yes you are right, the header of my message does mean any version of Outlook between 2000 and 2003. And that means that the solution should be applicable to the versions mentioned.

Jefferson's suggestion of having the e-mail account column added, is exactly what I was hoping for, and now I will add some VBA code to manage this the way the users need.

Most of my dept. co-workers are now on 2003, so it should be easy.

    Thanks again.
