    MS Sharpoint Server

I've just purchased the Action Pack and want to play with this tool and perhaps Project Central (if that's what it's still called.) I've a big project coming up I think it would be useful for. Any suggestions on where to go to learn both high level and technical details on setting them up and using them effectively would be greatly appreciated.

    Bryan,

Be sure to download the latest WSS (Windows Sharepoint Services) pack from Microsoft.

It took me a while to discover the biggest "gotcha" about Sharepoint - the Content site must be different than the Administration site. Assuming you're running these on a computer with just one IP address, you'll need to create a separate website with a unique port (such as http://localhost:81) for the second site.

Once that's done, simply point the Administration to one of the sites and the content to the other. It's pretty easy going from there on.
