ControlCaptions in Design View (XP/2K)

Is there a way to show the control name in design view rather than the underlying field that it is connected to. I recently had a problem with this. I had a problem in some VBA code, untill I realized I was basing it on what was showing in the field in design view rather than the actual control name. I personally would prefer the control name showing there rather than the field underlying it. Any comments?

As far as I know, we can't change what information is displayed in a control in design view. However, if you select a control, the control name is displayed in:
- the object dropdown list in the Formatting (Form/Report) toolbar.
- the object dropdown list in the Properties window.
- the caption of the Properties window.
