Open Args setting (Acc97 on xp)

I have a form with a combo box on it that is selected before printing ( I know I shouldn't be printing forms but never mind). The selected value is not saved anywhere. I have another copy of the form set to another printer that is opened and printed(faxed) by clicking a button on the first form. The combo box is not being set on the second form.

Is there a way to set the line shown in the combo box using OpenArgs?

Do you really need a combo box on the second form? Perhaps you could use a text box instead, with control source

    =[Forms]![NameOfFirstForm]![NameOfComboBox]

(with the appropriate names substituted, of course)

Do you always open the second form from the first?

If so, you could set the Default value of its combo box to the value of the combo on the first form.
