    combo box drop down

    Is there a way to make a combo box drop down when a user enters the combo box field? Something on the OnEnter event? I would like the combo box to automatically drop down when the user enters it. The default for this is you have to click the drop down arrow.. Thanks for the help..

    You're sooooooooo close! <img src=/S/rtfm.gif border=0 alt=rtfm width=24 height=23> <img src=/S/laugh.gif border=0 alt=laugh width=15 height=15>
    Try this:<pre>Private Sub cboYourCombo_Enter()
    cboYourCombo.DropDown
    End Sub</pre>

    Re: combo box drop down

    If you are trying to avoid using the mouse in the middle of entry you can also teach your users to do this:
    Alt + Down Arrow Key
    This will effect the drop down and then they can use the Up and Down Arrow Keys to move around in the drop down area.
