Yep, Another Train Puzzle!

A train travelling at 90 miles per hour takes 4 seconds to completely enter a tunnel, and 40 additional seconds to completely pass through the tunnel. How long is the train? How long is the tunnel? And how many passengers are onboard?

At first , I thought, what a strange question... 'til I researched the answer.

Mile n. Abbr. mi. or mi A unit of length equal to 5,280 feet or 1,760 yards (1,609 meters), used in the United States and other English-speaking countries.

In reference to the puzzle, a mile is considered 5,280 ft. or 1,760 yards. So, if the train is travelling 90 mph, that could be refined to say 132 ft / second.

Yes, that may be all well and good, but to be honest, you could have said that the train was travelling 90 blanks per hour and the puzzle could still be solved - however, the answer would have to be expressed in terms of blanks.
