    Font Colours (Excel 2000)

What would the formula be to change the font colour depending on what the answer to the formula is ?
i.e if answer is less than 5 the font colour is blue, if it's 5 or more then the font colour is red !!!!

No formula. It can be done with conditional formatting

    format - conditonal format
    Cell value - Less than - 5
<format> font tab color (choose blue)
    <ok><add>
    Cell value - Greater than - 5
<format> font tab color (choose red)
    <ok><ok>

    or a custom number format.
Format - cells-number (tab) - custom enter (note remove the space after blue and red, I added them to prevent wopr from considering it a tag.
    [Blue ][<5]General;[Red ][>5]General;General
