In the higher resolutions, the task bar and Quick Launch bar shrink, as do the icons on them.
Is there any way to "enlarge" these icons without enlarging all the icons?

<!post=This thread,251666>This thread<!/post> is in WinXP but you might want to look to see if it contains anything helpful in W2K (read down into the thread). My solution is to create my own 64x64 icons to use for some items in my QuickLaunch bar (see attached comparison).
Chuck, you should be able to compensate for this in Display Properties - Advanced as shown in the attached screen shot. Have a go at this and see if it meets your needs.

Yea, the problem is that all I want to enlarge is the quik launch icons... doesn't seem to be a way to isolate that one item...
Thnaks though...

No, unfortunately there isn't a way to isolate and enlarge only those icons. There may be a piece of shareware/freeware about that would do it, but if there is I am not aware of its existence. Sorry!

I used this : Which worked on my Quick Launch.

Chuck,
You can try X-setup. On my XP Pro machine there is an section for called Taskbar Sizing under Appearance | Taskbar. Not sure if this is available on Win2k but it may be. X-setup is <img src=/S/free.gif border=0 alt=free width=30 height=15> for home use. But be careful with it as you can do a lot of damage as this is changing your registry.

Joe:
In true MS fashion, no, this will size the taskbar icons, but NOT the Quick Launch icons... at least not for me... and thanks, 'cause the x-setup does show this option on Win2K
