Home Page Not found (ie 6~)

Not sure if anyone can shed some light on this ? Earthlink could not come up with a solution. I've had http://unisys.weather.com/ as home page for yrs - Now, all of a sudden - " page not found ". I can get to it from Work, from my other home XP pc BUT not this Win 98se - Most of the few others - that I travel to now and then - no problem , cept Nokiausa.com - is another page not found . I can disable "pest patrol" and
"Black ICE firewall " , still nothing . Thanks Tom E

First of all, you mean http://weather.unisys.com/, right?

Did Earthlink have you check for a hosts file to make sure there's no entry pointing unisys.weather.com to an obsolete IP address? If not, you could create an entry pointing it to the current address, which is: 192.63.100.226

Hi, Here is one note they sent me, I kept renaming "host" - course , ever time I connected - it thru another host file in .We understand that, you are still unable to view http://weather.unisys.com.

Please note that, you have to find Hosts file with no extension and just Hosts as the name. Once you find this file you have rename this to hosts.old . Once you reboot the system, you will
again find the hosts file with no extension because the operating system again generates this file. Since your issue was not resolved by renaming the file we suggest you to turn off your Firewall or any Anti virus software you are running and retry the website that was not resolving correctly.

We hope the above information will be helpful to you in resolving the issue.

For any further assistance, please get back to us.

I even tried the IP # , as you pointed out - with no luck - Not a big deal, Just curious why I could go back
    there again,

    Thanks Tom E
