    Web addresses (Outlook 2000 SP-3)

I do not use Outlook but one of our ex-employees has Outlook set so that it attaches a Web address to E-mails sent. Is there a setting that can be changed to eliminate this from occurring?

    Thanks

Check to see if Outlook automatically adds a signature to the e-mail

Select "Tools>Options..." and the settings to look at are on the "Mail Format" tab.

    Tony,

I had the new employee check the Tools>Options>Mail Format tab and the signature is set to None.

    Any other suggestions?

Can you explain this in more detail?

What is the web address (a URL, to a related or unrelated site?) and where does it appear in the message?

Is the mail format plain text, HTML, or rich text? If it's HTML, does the user use stationery? If the format is changed, does anything different happen?

It seems there was some type of hot bar which someone else in the company was able to delete. Thanks
