Where to post weird error messages?

Where do we catalogue/post messages like this one from PPT/VBE?

That sort of message usually gets put on the back inside page of "Windows and .NET Magazine", in the "Trip Stiles" section, where other such brainless error messages are posted!

Chris, you might find these Lounge Post reference syntaxes useful:
    <!t>[Post#=nnnnnn]<!/t> or
    <!t>[Post=Weird Error Messages,nnnnnn]<!/t>,

    respectively yielding

    <post#=362215>post 362215</post#> or
    <!post=Weird Error Messages,362215>Weird Error Messages<!/post>

Thanks, John. I realised as i made the link that it was unweidly, but wasn't sure how to reduce it. I didn't want to put in a simple "here" with a hidden URL, because I generally dislike hidden URL's - they don't print out well at all for those who print.

I have filed your response and useful tips in the apropriate folder.

Well, no, actually, (unless I get hooked on a binge of d/l images for my random desktop wallpaper scheme.)

I *do* dislike pages that don't contain the basics of the source of information. I hate printing out a page, or an email for that matter, and then discovering that I don't really have a reference - I have a translation of a reference - and to find the real reference, I must return and do another search. It's especially galling when I've sourced some material for classes and say "During the week please explore these sites ...." and get blank looks all round.

Well Chris, you know, that's the thing about <big>E</big>-mail: it's electonic. Shame on you for killing trees! <img src=/S/laugh.gif border=0 alt=laugh width=15 height=15>

I'd like to say I've never killed a tree in my life, but I did run one over while driving a tractor in my well-paid youth.

You probably guessed it - I don't print much anymore, but there are times when we use print media to communicate, and that's the pain. It may well be that the rarity of printing in my life is what causes me to suffer from not checking visible links.

BTW only yesterday I started hunting for more space on my desk shelves to store the re-usable one-sided paper that arrives via my letter-box. Soon I'm going to have to start printing just to make space!

Re: Where to post weird error messages?

Ah, just giving you a hard time sir. Around many an office that I've worked in those who print excessively are usually referred to as the tree killers.

I can see where, in printed form, lack of a reproduceable URL would be a problem. The sad part is, it's a problem without a decent solution.
