    Using ANd or and If statements (excel2000)

    I'm trying to show results using and if statement comparing 2 columns. here is what I have:
    =IF(AND(L1="Prints",L1="shipped"),(C1<=A$2-2),"Late tomorrow")
    In other words. If L1 equals either prints or Shipped AND the date in C1 is 2 days older than A1 (A1 equals today) give me "will be late"
    I Need everything to be true. If it's a half true statement (like it equals prints or shipped but the date in C1 isn't 2 days older than A1) then I don't want anything. How can I do this? Please see attachment for a better idea of what is happening.

    Use this formula in K2:

    =IF(AND(OR(L2="Prints",L2="Shipped"),C2<=A$1-2),"Late tomorrow","")

    and fill down as far as needed.

    Note: you have set your workbook to manual recalculation (in the Calculate tab of Tools | Options...), so just changing the formula will have no effect.
