    Keystroke

In the code development environment of VBA (can't remember the "official" term), is there a keystroke for adding or removing a remark?

    Thanks

It's the IDE (integrated development environment).

To comment a line use the apostrophe: '

May I suggest you put the Edit toolbar on you IDE desktop and then you get the use of multi-line commenting and uncommenting with one click!

    Thanks, IDE.

Already got the Edit toolbar there. However, it is a lot faster for me to select several lines and hit a keystroke than to select several lines and move the mouse up to the button.

Hence, the question about if there is a shortcut keystroke (though I didn't have "shortcut" in the first post).

    Well, that's different.

Therefore, I'd have to say: No.

    Re: Keystroke

I dragged it up to the menu, and there was no keyboard shortcut listed in 2000.

    This doesn't work either:

    VBE.CommandBars("Edit").Controls("Comment Block").Execute

(Nor can I figure out a way to invoke it while other code is selected; perhaps an add-in?)

(sigh). I'm absent for a day or so and the board goes to PIECES!

It's the DIDE (Dis-integrated development environment, isn't it!

However it's the weekend, so I suppose SOMEONE has to work out how to write a macro in Word97 that can be activated by a shortcut key to perform some IDE functionality.
