    Change Project Size (Publisher XP)

I have just finished designing a flyer and am very satisfied with the outcome. The only problem is it's a full page (8.5 X 11) flyer. I would rather have two per sheet. I'm not very familiar with the shortcuts and features of Publisher but I'm guessing there's a quick way to convert my page to a 2-per-page format without disturbing the current work. Should be able to switch to landscape mode... Any help would be appreciated.

    Ricky,

Group the entire page by selecting all of your items and clicking the group button on the lower right.

Now Cut everything. (cntl-x) change to landscape. Paste the group. Re-size entire group to fit half of the sheet. Copy the re-sized group and paste. Move to the other half of your sheet..

    Hope this helps.

    Ricky:

If you need to change your flyer, it may be easier to have only one copy to alter, and get Publisher to print two copies side-by-side automatically .

To do this, go to File/Page Setup and on the Layout Tab select Landscape. Choose Custom from the Publication Type list and halve the Height (14.8cm instead of 29.7), leaving the Height at 21cm.

You will then find that the document you are working on (a portrait A5) is actually half of a Landscape A4.

    HTH.

    Tony.
