No MSG File Format in Outlook 2003? (2003)

    Hi,

Outlook XP had a handy file format (*.MSG) which allowed a file to be saved in it's entirety along with the attachments etc. Was very useful to be frank.

Now in OL2003 it seems to have disappeared.
Is there any similar option with OL2003?

    Thanks,

    Bob.

I have Outlook 2003 (clean install) and the option to save in this format is there. Try running setup to see if the option was not installed.

What do you get if you drag a message from the inbox to the desktop? In 2000 and 2002, this always creates a .MSG file regardless of the format of the original message.
