search all of outlook! (not sure. )

isn't there some way to search all of outlook? sometimes i have a customer of contact, and i'm not sure if i entered the information in the address book, or the calendar... also, when i'm searching in the calendar, i have to do so many clicks to search. we type alot of stuff into the notes field... so, i have to click find, then click advance find, then select from the drop down menue the option that searches both the subject field and the notes field. there must be a better way. please help. thanks, -joe

If you go to 'Advanced find' and in the Box called 'Look for:' choose -"Any Type of Outlool Item" and then do your search.
