    is SSL on?

Is there a way for me to tell if a site is requiring SSL or 128-bit encryption?

    Thanks!

If you mean before loading the page, I don't think so. However, if the page loads, you can look at its Properties dialog. When there are multiple frames, sometimes only one of them is secured and the "lock" icon is not locked. Not sure what that indicates.

Yet another reason to use NS! I can right-click a link and View Info, inclusive of security settings.
