    Saving (XP)

In Excel you can have a window pop up that states " Save or continue" Which will save your file. Is this possible in Word? If so how!

In Word, Tools>Options>Save tab. Check the Save AutoRecover info every: and specify a period. This will automatically save the document at the interval specified.

That can help, but actually isn't the same as the Excel option. The AutoRecovery only helps you recover from a crash or power failure. If I recall correctly, the autorecovered file is deleted if you EndTask on winword, so it's not as reliable as a periodic full save.

I thought someone had posted a macro solution for this, but I can't find it. Maybe it was <!post=this one,40804>this one<!/post>, but I thought there was one with more discussion.
