    windows explorer thumbnails

When calling for thumbnail display of graphic files the system displays only jpg and gif files. This is a recent problem because I did have full display previously. Cannot figure this one out.

It sounds as if your file associations have been changed by something recently installed. Try looking at your file associations (in Explorer, View/Folder OPtions/File Types) to see if they have been amended.

I have looked at the file associations and it seems that when loading new scanner software a new imaging program took over on those two (PCX & TIF). However not sure on where to go from here.
