    Document ''protected'' for tracked changes - NOT

    One of my colleagues asked me today why the Accept and Accept All buttons might be grayed out when there clearly were tracked changes in a document. We ascertained that the document was protected for tracked changes by someone in a large loop, and this person did not circulate the password. However, the "protection" was readily circumvented with this simple macro:

    Sub Macro1()
    ActiveDocument.AcceptAllRevisions
    End Sub

    Whoever tried to pull this trick is going to be severely disappointed. <img src=/S/laugh.gif border=0 alt=laugh width=15 height=15>
