    Setting A Label's Caption (A2K)

    Hola,
    I would like to set a label caption based on another value. Here's what I have:

    Me.lblnumber.Caption = rstQ!strqnum
    If rstQ!strqnum = "00- 1" Then
    lblarea.Caption = "Overall Park"
    End If

    I'd like to set a value so that if rstQ!strqnum "00-**" Then lblarea.caption = "Overall Park"

    Where should I set the wildcard value? The only way I can get lblarea.caption to show up correctly right now is if I specify a particular value, so I know I must be putting the * in the wrong place.

    Thanks, Sarah

    Try this:

    If rstQ!strqnum Like "00-**" Then
    lblarea.Caption = "Overall Park"
    End If
