Put a small Access database on the intranet (2002/xp)

OK this is a real basic question, but I have never used Access on the Web. I have a very basic Access database, i.e. table, form, query. How can I save them to the corp. intranet so that employees can fill out the form and the pull up the query as HTML? I thought XP had this as a built in feature, but can't find it . . . if it does.

Is this going to be a big project or is there an easy (read automatic) way to do this. <img src=/S/crazy.gif border=0 alt=crazy width=15 height=15>

There is a feature in Access called Data Access Pages in Access 2002 (and in 2000, though not a feature rich) that lets users with Microsoft Internet Explorer work with an Access database. There are a number of requirements you need to meet before you can do that however. Your server must in general be running IIS, and also some Office extensions, and you must deal with any user security issues yourself. Bottom Line - it isn't automatic, it isn't even easy. You might look at another alternative such as ASP or ASP.net, or products such as Cold Fusion. There is also a useful tool called Web Matrix that makes such a project more manageable, but it requires that your server support .NET.

(Edited by HansV to make URL clickable - see <!help=19>Help 19<!/help>)

Try out this program: ASP Maker
    http://www.hkvstore.com/aspmaker/
There is a trial download that is fully functional for 30 days.
It will automatically generate all the pages and code you need to place on your intranet.
    Its a bargain at $39.00
I've used it several times and this new version supports security to access the site
