    Outlook Contacts (2003)

I work in a law firm and this is an issue that has us boggled:

Let's say Lawyer gives Secretary all rights to everything in his mailbox. Secretary, from her own computer, opens a message in Lawyer's inbox. She hits Reply and wants to add a contact from Lawyer's Contact list. If she clicks To, she gets the Select Name window in which she can decide to view addresses in the Global List and her Contacts list but not Lawyer's Contact list.

Is there any way she can view Lawyer's Contact list in that window?

How about Tools>Options>Mail Setup>E-Mail Accounts>Add a new directory or address book>Next>Additional Address Books>Personal Address Book and then name it as "Lawyer's Address Book" and browse to the correct path and filename.

    Thanks John for your suggestion.

I tried this and although I was able to see the Lawyer Contacts in the list, when I clicked on it I didn't see the content. I then add a thought: The .PAB file that I ended up selecting contains information about the Personal Address Book. Isn't the Contacts information in another file? Like the .PST or .OST or some such? It that is the case, shouldn't those file be stored on the network? Which led me to another question: If, as it is, the filed is stored locally, how can I even see, which I do, the contacts information just by being a delegate. Oy! I admit I am a little overwhelmed and as I dig deeper to find a solution, I come up with new questions!

    Thanks again for your help!

If you can see the Lawyer Contacts, right click, properties, Outlook Address Book tab, and enable "Show this folder as an e-mail address book".

On my system, this option is grayed out and I cannot change it. Is this some type of IT policy or am I missing something?
    TIA
