    Default Template (2003)

I am about to switch from Excel 2000 to 2003. The default template was book.xlt in 2000 - I cannot find the template in 2003. How to I find the default template, what is it called. I need to put a custom format into Excel so it is available to all workbooks.

Book.xlt and Sheet.xlt are not supplied by Microsoft, you must create them yourself. You can probably use the version of Book.xlt you are using now in Excel 2003 too. Depending on where Book.xlt is now and how you set up Excel 2003, it may even be used automatically.

Whoops! I have been here too long obviously, I have spent the last seven years working with book.xlt thinking it was something we added to rather than added.

    Thanks for the enlightenment.
