In word 2003 (xp) how do you? (SP1)

Turn off that blasted paper clip. I could do in previous versions from Word 6 through Word 2000, but it's eluding me in XP.

Right click the paper clip & choose Options...

On the Options tab de-select "Use the office assistant"

Right-click the Office Assistant, and select Options... from the popup menu.
Clear the check boxes, in particular the first one ("Use the Office Assistant"), then click OK.
Clippy should stay away then, unless you explicitly select Help | Show the Office Assistant.

Tony, I'm impressed. There's not many that can slip an answer in before Hans.
