IE Closes when I click on Link (IE6.0.2800.1106.xpclnt_qfe)

Edited by Phil Rabichow to make the link clickable - see Help #19
Note: This problem is for an End User. My system works fine so it should also work for you guys.

This is a site for Bio-Medical industry.

    http://www.rcsb.org/pdb/cgi/explore.cgi?pi...&pdbId=1A1Q

When I click on the link: View Structure. It starts to load, then the whole browser closes.

The original problem started with this site and www.nytimes.com.

I removed Internet Explorer from Windows Components.

Then I installed IE6SP1. I also loaded all the Microsoft Critical patches.

I can now browse the New York Times. I can even browse most of this site here, but when I click on the link "View Structure", it starts to load, then the whole browser closes.

I also notice that on the TOOLS menu, it has Messenger Service and Sun Java Console on it. Mine does not.

It was also loading DLLCMD32.EXE in the system process. I ended the process but its still not working for that site/link. Other sites do work.

    Any clues?????

    Thanks

User needs to load Sun's Java Runtime Engine (JRE). Links in past posts, or at Sun's site.
