    Searching for a specific graphic

    I am using Word 97 SR1.

As a part of a conversion from an HTML-based help file to a MS Word document, my document is littered with "See Also" button graphics. I would like to be able to use a macro to search for all graphics that are, in this case, 12 pt high and 43.5 pt wide, and then delete them and the paragraph mark on which they sit (they are on the line, not floating over text, and they are the only thing on the paragraph on which they sit). The size of the graphic is the only thing that distinguishes it from the other graphics that I want to keep.

Thanks for any help you can give!!

Troy, is this graphic really a link to an image file, or is it actually an embedded picture object?

    - If it's a link, you probably could do a wildcard search.

    - If it's a picture object, you might need to skim through all the picture objects in the document, checking out their height and width. See the attached example. You will need to substitute your graphic's measurements.
