Text boxes are transparent! (Word 2002/xp)

I've written a training manual. Screen shots are copied in and text boxes overlaid to explain them. However, no matter what I tweak (transparency, fill color, order) the text boxes are transparent! The border line and the text shows up but the fill is non-existent. Also, the header border doesn't show up. Is this a printer problem? I'm printing to an HP color 4500.

    Hi Naomi:
Is this only in one document? You could have some document corruption. I don't have Word 2002 to check it, but you could:
    1. Post a portion of the problematic document here, after removing anything sensitive. You might have to shorten &/or zip it to meet the 100kb limit.
    2. Try Detect & repair from the Help menu.
    3. If that doesn't work, try the steps in <post#=197827>post 197827</post#>.

Thanks. Don't have time to fix it according to your instructions, think I'll just paste it over into PowerPoint for now. *yuk*
    Thanks Phil.
