    Network with print server

I have two computers (Xp Pro and Win98) which need can be networked via a wireless router. But, a network bridge is created. That would be fine, except when the bridge is created, I can't use the print server which is on a separate NIC from the wifi router.

    Any help would be appriciated.

A bridge is often created when setting up your network This Knowledge Base article gives the procedure for setting up your network without creating the bridge. You may have to run the Network Setup Wizard again.

    Re: Network with print server

I always wanted to remove my LAN connection from the bridge, but had given up last Fall. Today, after futzing around with trying to create a new connection (nothing seemed to happen), I right-clicked the existing "Local Area Connection" and saw an option to remove it from the bridge. Within 15 seconds, everything was taken care of. Actually, I did have to reboot to finish posting this reply.

Not sure when this option was added; I'm on: Windows XP Pro SP1, Build 2600.xpsp2.030422-1633
