    What is WMDM PMSP Service?

In my Services control panel I find the service "WMDM PMSP Service," which is run by C:WINNTSystem32MsPMSPSv.exe. It has no description. What is this? What will happen if I disable it? (I am running Win2K Pro SP4).

Re: What is WMDM PMSP Service?

It's a service associated with Windows Media Player, it mainly handles digital copyrights (copy protection et al), etc. It should be safe to disable it, but if you see odd behaviour with WMP then set it to Manual.
